The mandatory activities of KVK viz., on farm trail (OFT), Front Line Demonstrations (FLD) and trainings were performed as per the action plan 2021 22. The innovations under assessment (OFT) were new hybrid vegetables viz., chillies, tomato, management of root knot nematode in papaya, converting f ish waste to manure/feed, qualityneera production and others. The innovations under FLD were towards demonstrating intercropping of pineapple in coconut gardens, use of wick irrigation, application of micro nutrients in vegetables, supplementing moringa as goat feed and others. KVK organized 26 trainings benefitting 567 farmers and other stakeholders.
