Extension being a state subject and in a pluralistic system, the KVK works with other similar mandated organizations to bring changes in lives of farmers. Since inception the KVK has a strong interaction and working linkages with other actors of the island specialized working in development of agriculture and allied sectors. The development departments viz., agriculture, animal science and fisheries of the Lakshadweep administration have been working with KVK in project/programme design, implementation of development projects, building capacity among farmers, aggregating farmer’s groups and other development activities.
