KVK-Lakshadweep has been invited by Lakshadweep Development Corporation Limited (LDCL), UT administration of Lakshadweep to work on lodging a geographical indication (GI) for the unique coconut value added product of Lakshadweep the “Coconut Halwa”. A report of the baseline survey was submitted to LDCL. This has been an unique activity of the KVK supporting the UT administration of Lakshadweep.
